This Privacy Policy explains how Via Federico's Photography, operated by Joseph Federico in Yuma, Arizona ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or book a session. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form (Google Forms): your name, email address, phone number if provided, the type of session you want, and anything you write in your message.
- Booking (Setmore): your name, email, phone number, chosen service and appointment time, and any payment or deposit details you enter on Setmore's pages.
- Email and social messages: anything you send to us directly, including by Instagram, Facebook or TikTok direct message.
- Photographs and video of you: if you book a session, we create images and video of you, your family or your property.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider, Vercel, processes your IP address and basic request data (browser, pages requested, time) to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you accept analytics, Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous page views, referring page, country or region, and device and browser type. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
- Choice record: your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you every time.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as government IDs, health data or full payment card numbers through this website.
2. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, schedule and deliver photography and video services.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and gallery links.
- To keep business, accounting and tax records.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (analytics, with consent).
- To protect the site and prevent abuse, and to comply with the law.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- Google (Forms and Gmail) to receive and answer contact requests. Google Privacy Policy.

- Vercel for website hosting and optional analytics. Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Gallery and file-delivery tools used to deliver your finished photos through a private link.
- Authorities or advisers where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights and safety.
Third-party embeds (Google Forms and Setmore) load only after you choose "Accept all" or "Allow and load", and then those companies receive your IP address and may set their own cookies. Social media links (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Beacons.ai) take you to sites we do not control; their privacy practices apply once you leave this site.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
See our Cookie Policy for a full list and how to change your choice at any time using "Cookie Settings" in the footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal by keeping analytics off.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet business, accounting and tax record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Finished galleries are kept for a limited period after delivery; ask us if you need a file again. You may request earlier deletion (see section 7).
6. Photographs of you and your family
Images we create of you are personal information. We store them securely and share them only with you through a private link. We use images in our portfolio, website, social media or advertising as described in our Terms of Service; you may opt out of any promotional use by emailing us, and we will stop future use and remove images we control where reasonably possible. Content already posted on third-party platforms or downloaded by others may remain outside our control.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you object to. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia and other U.S. states, or the UK and EU), you may have additional legal rights, including to withdraw consent, to receive a copy of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
To make a request, email Viafedericophotography@gmail.com from the address you used with us. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within 45 days (or sooner if the law requires). You may also use an authorized agent.
Do Not Track: browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard; we respond to Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. Sessions involving children must be booked by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with modern security headers, and we do not run a database or accept payment card numbers on this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
10. International visitors
We are based in the United States and serve clients in and around Yuma, Arizona. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. and by our service providers, which may be located elsewhere.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
